Venue: Alte Turnhalle Berlin
Located in the vibrant district of Friedrichshain, the Alte Turnhalle Berlin offers a unique setting that combines historic architecture with a contemporary atmosphere. Originally built as a school gymnasium in the 1950s, the venue has been transformed into a distinctive event space while retaining its original character. Its spacious hall, high ceilings, and elegant interior provide an inviting atmosphere for an evening of dining and socializing.
The social dinner will offer participants the opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the world, exchange ideas beyond the conference sessions, and enjoy an evening together in one of Berlin's distinctive event venues.

How to Get There
The Alte Turnhalle Berlin is located in Berlin-Friedrichshain, within walking distance (7-minute walk from the venue) of Ostkreuz station.
We recommend travelling by public transport, as parking in the surrounding area is limited.
The following S-Bahn lines serve Ostkreuz:
- S3
- S5
- S7
- S8
- S41 / S42 (Ringbahn)
From Ostkreuz, follow the signs towards Holteistraße and continue on foot to the venue.
By Tram
Take tram M13 to Holteistraße. The stop is approximately a 2-minute walk from the venue.
By Bus
The nearest bus stop is Holteistraße, served by bus lines 21, 240, and N40.
From Berlin Central Station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof)
Take an S-Bahn train towards Ostkreuz. Depending on the connection, you may need to change trains along the way. From Ostkreuz, the venue is approximately a 7-minute walk.
From Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER)
Take the FEX Airport Express or another suitable regional train towards Berlin Ostkreuz, depending on the connection available. From Ostkreuz, continue on foot to the venue.
By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Services
Taxis and ride-hailing services are available throughout Berlin. Enter the following destination:

By Car
There are no dedicated parking spaces for event guests at the venue. Paid street parking may be available in the surrounding area, but spaces are limited. We therefore recommend using public transport wherever possible.
