Berlin is well connected by air, rail, and road, making the symposium venue easy to reach from Germany and abroad. The Langenbeck-Virchow-Haus is centrally located in Berlin-Mitte and is easily accessible by public transport from Berlin's main railway station, the airport, and other parts of the city.
Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Berlin Central Station) is the city's main railway hub and is served by numerous ICE, IC, EC and regional trains from cities across Germany and neighbouring European countries.
From Berlin Hauptbahnhof, the symposium venue can be reached by:
walking (approximately 10 minutes), or
tram M5, M8 or M10 to Invalidenpark (1 stop), or
bus 147 to Charité – Campus Mitte.

Berlin is served by Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), Germany's third-largest international airport. Located approximately 27 km south of the city centre, BER offers connections to destinations across Europe and worldwide.
The airport is well connected to central Berlin by train and public transport.
BER to Berlin Hauptbahnhof
The fastest and most convenient option is to take one of the following trains:

Alternatively, the S9 or S45 S-Bahn lines connect BER with various parts of Berlin and allow convenient transfers to the city's U-Bahn, trams and buses.

Taxis are available directly outside all BER terminals. Ride-hailing services such as Uber, Bolt and FREE NOW are also available in Berlin and can be used both from BER Airport and within the city.
